Cllr George Fairhurst is the Deputy Leader of the Wigan Independent Conservatives.
Cllr George Fairhurst has sits on the planning committee on Wigan Council and also the Licensing and Regulation Committee since 2004.
As a local Councillor for Standish he is a well known and popular figure around Standish. As a very active person in the village he works tirelessly to help improve Standish and the lives of the residents.
